In January 2025, I launched the website https://www.esperienzedivalore.it/en “Thoughts for a better world.”
It was born from the desire to publish content that would stimulate positive thoughts and the search for common ground, in a historical period where we are constantly reached by stimuli that lead us to division, if not outright conflict. What is the outcome as we blow out the first candle?
My first thought is that I have maintained my determination to produce articles in line with the purpose of the website. At the beginning, I managed to maintain a weekly schedule, but lately I have been writing two articles per month. I would like to maintain this pace, but I confess to my readers that it is a very challenging commitment, especially since my articles are my own work and I do not use artificial intelligence tools to produce content.
The second thought is that I am happy to have written articles that highlight commonalities between different religions, and between science and spirituality.

In one year, I wrote 36 articles, in Italian and English. They cover different topics, but they are united by the intention to offer value and to steer clear of negative judgments toward ways of thinking and opinions that differ from my own.
You can find articles on Catholicism, Taoism, Soka Gakkai Buddhism (Roby Baggio’s Buddhism, so to speak), personal reflections, a couple of poems, and comments on books by Carl Rogers, Bruce Lipton, and Daisaku Ikeda. Here is the link to the Articles page.

Among the various articles written, I would like to highlight a few:

• The definition of value is the first article, in which I propose to the reader the definition of the word “value” in the sense used by the Japanese educator Tsunesaburo Makiguchi, founder of Soka Gakkai.
• Systems theory, psychotherapy, and Buddhism: an interesting parallel between engineering, psychology, and Buddhist topics.
• Life, death, and antifragility: the presentation of the concept of anti-fragility applied to life and death, which I surprisingly learned during a seminar on the robustness of software systems.
• The religiosity of Albert Einstein: an article discussing the religious views of Albert Einstein, who professed to be a “religious non-believer.”

I will continue to write in 2026, and I hope to publish content from friends and acquaintances, or anyone who wants to share topics in line with the mission of the site.

To complete the picture, it is only fair to mention the book “Experiences of value. Dad’s death turns into a wonderful life lesson“. After the exciting presentation in front of about 100 people on January 18, 2025, the book gave me the opportunity to discuss profound themes with many people and fellow believers.
Sales are low, about twenty copies. However, I have given the book as a gift to about 180 people. I can say that there is at least one copy in 12 Italian regions (Valle d’Aosta, Trentino Alto Adige, Molise, Abruzzo, Calabria, Puglia, Sardinia, and Friuli Venezia Giulia are missing). Four copies have crossed the Alps and are in France, England, Poland, and Holland. In the article Comments of readers of “Experience of value”, there are 53 comments from readers who (thank you very much!) have given me their opinion. The book is currently ranked 126th in the “Religious Fiction Stories” category on Amazon. Finally, I have just published the story I wrote in 2014 on Amazon, for which I now own the copyright again. It is called “All’improvviso. La crisi di un’azienda pubblica, un’occasione per cambiare vita”, a short story about love, change, and friendship. The book is only available as  e-book in Italian.
