Italian version

I was born in 1969 in La Spezia (Italy) where I live with my wife and two children. I have a degree in telecommunications engineering and work as a software architect in a multinational IT company (my linkedin profile is https://it.linkedin.com/in/ottavioadami/it). I enjoy volleyball, which I have played for 15 years, I am passionate about math, and I love reading that helps me become a better person.

In January 2025 I published on Amazon the book “Experiences of value. Dad’s death turns into a wonderful life lesson” (available also in Italian). It is a short autobiographical story of my inner journey in which parting from Dad unexpectedly turns into a serene and valuable experience.

“Experiences of value” is my second experience into the world of writing. In 2014, I wrote “Suddenly. The crisis of a public company, a chance to change lives,” a short story about love, change and friendship. In August 2024, the copyrights returned to my ownership, so “Suddenly” will also be published on Amazon, probably by the end of 2025.
